What makes Christians think disproving evolution will prove creationism?

In order to reject the mountains of evidence for Evolution, you'd have to be either really, really stupid, or have a hell of a lot of confirmation bias. Anyone that dillusional will happily believe in creationism so once you've convinced them evolution is a lie its pretty easy to make them believe we were made out of dust like some freaky lego model.
