After installing 3 amps into my 87 prelude si i still have no power. Help!?

I originally wired my prelude with a streetwires PSK08BI 8 gauge wiring kit. I later had to have the fusable link replaced, and following that have been unable to get any power to my amp. I checked the amp fuse, replaced the wires, and ran thru 3 amps. What could possibly be the problem?
