Do you or anyone you know go by an unusual name?

In my family, it seems none of us go by our given name. My one Grandmother was given the name Elise, but was called Elsie all her life. Another Grandma was given Julia at birth, but someone began calling her Judy, and it stuck. My uncle was John, but called Harry, and other relatives: Carter, called Cody, Karoline, called Lee, Edmund, called Junior...Some were just nicknames, but others are difficult to figure out. Do you prefer your given name or something else?
