Why even attempt to go to Gliese 581 g?

i ask this cause we might spend thousands for nothing imagine spending all that money and time to get there then there could be another george bush as a leader there that would blow us out of there atmosphere then it would be a wasted trip. i think we need to make contact with them first and if they don't reply they either don't want visitors or nothing is there. we should make a mive laser that somehow carries sound waves mabey send them some don't mess with the ZOHAN or TERMINATOR 2 and see how they respond
